Montana Hydraulics, LLC, develops, installs and maintains custom operating systems for railroad ballast cars. These are an upgrade from the existing manually controlled systems and provide a safer, more efficient means of placing ballast. In addition to developing custom systems, we provide contract services to maintain ballast cars for BNSF and other railroads.
Montana Hydraulics, LLC, has it’s own engineering department, as well as service technicians on staff to provide design services, technical assistance, training in system operations, service and maintenance of the ballast delivery systems.
Montana Hydraulics, LLC, has developed custom hydraulic systems for various other railroad applications and has a complete CNC machine shop that is capable of producing complex parts. They have extensive capabilities in building and repairing hydraulic cylinders.
